About

Agrifarm Uganda Ltd. implemented the Micro Dam Construction project as part of the DRDIP sub-projects between 2019 and 2025. The primary goal of this initiative was to address water scarcity by providing reliable irrigation sources for both vegetable cultivation and livestock production in communities within the Kiryandongo and Moyo Districts. Key examples include the Kinyomozi Pilot Scheme Project and the Kimyoka microdam site in Kiryandongo, alongside the 4-million-liter capacity Cohwe Micro dam designed for commercial vegetable and livestock use in Moyo District. These dams play a crucial role in enhancing agricultural productivity and supporting local livelihoods.
