To improve access to essential water resources, Agrifarm Uganda Ltd. implemented comprehensive Water Systems Installation projects across various communities in Northern Uganda. This initiative focused on providing reliable water sources for both household domestic use and agricultural irrigation. Activities included drilling boreholes to tap into groundwater, such as the one providing safe water access for the Awic Apyetta community in Lamwo District. Additionally, Agrifarm installed water storage solutions like the tanks at Maaji 3C in Adjumani District and deployed efficient irrigation technologies, including sprinkler systems in Olikwi and drip irrigation systems in Pagirinya D, both within Adjumani District. These installations are vital for enhancing community well-being and agricultural potential.
